Last minute Valentine’s DIY for you! And it’s little cost and time for a super fun impact for your valentine’s party drinks or special dinner for two. Dress up a bamboo skewer with conversation hearts to create this cute drink stirrer.
Materials
- Bamboo skewers
- Conversation hearts
- Hot glue
Steps
1 Trim your bamboo skewers to 4 inches above the rim when inserted in your drinking glass.
2 Place a large dab of hot glue on the back of your conversation heart.
3 Press the bamboo skewer against the centre of the heart on the hot glue. Hold firmly until it dries, careful not to let the skewer slip out of place.
4 Repeat with another conversation heart on the other side of the bamboo skewer, again holding the skewer against the hot glue until it dries.
Sure, conversation hearts are supposed to be candy, but they’re pretty much inedible. You might as well slap some hot glue on there and make some use out of them. Plus, you can put certain hearts together to create fun messages like “One Kiss Baby Doll Just 4-U” or “Love me Oh boy U-R mine”.
